We saw a gap. Too often, the real challenges, and the real opportunities our clients faced, were being missed.
We wanted to work closer to the people doing the work that truly mattered, helping them solve problems in ways that deliver lasting impact.

Where We Are Now

Since we began, we’ve focused on helping organisations deliver better outcomes through technology, people, and process.
Recently, we became part of the Actica Group – a move that strengthens our expertise further and allows us to offer greater end-to-end support. While we now have the backing of a wider group, we remain true to what makes us different: staying close to the real work and creating value where it matters most.

The Meaning Behind Our Name

In Japanese philosophy, Gemba 現場 means the real place – ‘where value is created’. Rooted in Lean and Kaizen thinking.
You go to where the work is happening, observe with curiosity, and focus on improving what makes a genuine difference. But Gemba isn’t just a mindset – it’s also a practice. The ‘Gemba Walk’ is how we put that philosophy into real-life action, with purpose and intent. That habit of being present, asking the right questions, and always looking for better ways runs through everything we do.
